Arsenal supporter @ThePeakSanti was not too impressed with Fulham, writing on X: "We are here hoping Fulham beat city and they're there flying kites in training."

It was a sentiment shared by @TomSaunders124 who wrote: "This is the team we need to beat or draw to city man we’re so cooked."

And @SalibaTequila was also feeling pessimistic about Fulham's hopes against Man City: "If Fulham get a result I’ll buy a kite."

Another fan, @skinnyskinnytm, is already looking forward to next season:"Fulham players are flying kites in training and people were talking about them taking points off city 😂 we go again next season! Lol"

Meanwhile, @hollowman96 feels the fixture list has been kind to City: "City’s remaining fixtures are so unserious Fulham flying kites in training and Spurs and West Ham 😂 ffs"

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Manchester City sit just a point behind Arsenal in the table but have a game in hand on the Gunners and will claim the title if they win their last three games. Pep Guardiola's side can leapfrog Arsenal on Saturday with a victory at Craven Cottage, with the Gunners not in action until Sunday when they face a struggling Manchester United side at Old Trafford.
